Sitting in 4,500 acres of land, this 17th century farmhouse and its 19th century extension had, over time, become a jumble of different interior styles, levels, periods and materials. The owners wanted to make a fresh start, gutting the interior and asking Mark Gillette Interior Design to develop a new layout and designs for every room.

The client's love of colour and passion for entertaining greatly influenced the design. Over a period of four years, Mark Gillette Interior Design helped to fill the house with furniture, fittings and artworks, both antique and modern, to complement the interior, creating a warm and welcoming home that perfectly reflects the personality and lifestyle of the inhabitants.
